The Whip - Wired Together

"Wired Together" chega às lojas a 19 de Setembro. São os "the Whip" de novo em terrenos de uma newwave dançante dos anos 80. Não sei se isso é ou ou mau, quando ainda por cima "trash" o seu hit-single de 2009 ainda tem ecos por aqui...para tira-teimas ouçam "Master Of Ceremonies".
"Wired Together" will be release on September 19TH. "The Whip" are back again with their Newwave back from the 80's. I don't know if this is good or bad, even when their 2009's hit-single still playing in my head...listen "Master Of Ceremonies" and judge for yourself.

Bon Iver: "Holocene"

É sempre bom voltar a "Bon Iver" e desta vez a razão é motivada pelo lançamento do video do tema: "Holocene". Tão tão Bom!

Other Lives - Tamer Animals

Já está disponível nos Estados Unidos mas só chegará à Europa a 29 de Agosto. "Other Lives" são de Stillwater, Oklahoma (EUA) e têm andado em digressão com "Bon Iver". Pelo que pude constatar, um perfeito complemento. Para ver o video "for 12", filmado no maravilhoso "Death Valley" (EUA).
It's already available in the States but it will only be release o August 29TH. "Other Lives" is a band from Stillwater, Oklahoma (USA) e they have been on tour with "Bon Iver". As far I can tell, that is a perfect match. Watch now the video "for 12", filmed in the marvelous "Death Valley" (USA).

Dotada de uma voz altamente encorpada e uns lábios à la "Angelina Jolie", "Lana Del Rey" estreia-se com este fabuloso single "Video Games"...mas há mais videos no Youtube, a saber: "Kinda Outta Luck" e "Diet Mtn Dew".

Grimes - Halfaxa

Qualquer semelhança com "Zola Jesus", "Ema", "Lykki li" e umas tantas outras não é coincidencia e ao mesmo tempo não tem nada a ver. Confusos? Bem também assim é o universo de "Claire Boucher", aka "Grimes", mas que felizmente mostra mais uma leitura do universo POP cada vez mais salpicado de gliter. "Halfaxa" (Março 2011) já está editado e recomendo que dêem uma vista de olhos ao video "Vanessa", o qual a-d-o-r-o.
Whatever resembles with "Zola Jesus", "Ema", "Lykki li" and so many others it's not a coincidence and at the same time it's nothing to do with them. Confused? Well so it is the world of "Claire Boucher", aka "Grimes", but fortunately shows another reading of the POP World, increasingly with more glitter. "Halfaxa" is already available (March 2011) and I recommend this video "Vanessa", which I Just A-d-o-r-e.

Braids - lammicken

Depois do fantástico "Lemonade" e do "Plath Heart" é editado mais um single do álbum de estreia das "Braids" "Native Speaker" - "lammicken". Muito mais experimental e de certa forma mais longe do formato de canção, é a perfeita banda sonora para dias soturnos e cinzentos, tal como hoje, pelo que vejo da minha janela.
After the fantastic "Lemonade" and "Plath Heart" it's release another single from Braids's debut album "Native Speaker" - "lammicken". Much more experimental than the others and in a certain way much far away from a song form, it's the perfect song for cloudy and grey days, like today as far I can see from my window.
