Mais um duo rapaz-rapariga a seguir: "Big Deal". "talk", "Locked Up", "Lunch Money" e este "Chair" são motivos mais que suficientes para acreditar neles e conhecer o resto do album que já está disponível.
One more boy-girl duo to watch: "Big Deal". Songs like "Talk", "Locked Up", "Lunch Money" and this amazing song "Chair" are a good and a strong reason to believe in them and find out the rest of the album that is already available.

Pure X - Pleasure

Os "Pure X", anteriormente conhecidos por "Pure ecstasy", são de Austin, Texas e lançaram em Agosto "Pleasure", um album cheio de tantas referências, que vão desde o surf-rock, ao garage, passando pelo psicadelismo, enfim soa a tantas outras coisas, como é muito usual nos dias que correm. Mas, para mim, fazem-no com tua a sua alma, houve uma apropriação de tudo isso e, por exemplo, "Easy" arrisco a dizer que é um eco da sua essência. Verdade ou não, considero um album muito honesto e adoro principalmente os temas "Your In It Now" , "easy" (aqui em video), "Dream Over", "voices" (também em video) e o fantástico tema de abertura "Heavy Air".
"Pure x", formerly known as "Pure ecstasy", are from Austin, Texas, and release last August "Pleasure", a album full references of Surf-Rock, Garage, Psychedelic and so many other things, as usual this days, if I may say. But, to me, they put this together with their souls, and I dare to say that "easy", for example, is an echo of their essence. True or not, I fund this record very honest and I love their songs, mostly "Your In It Now" , "easy" (here in video), "Dream Over", "voices" (here in video too) and the fantastic opening album track "Heavy Air".

"Ceremonials" o novo álbum de "Florence & The Machine" só em Novembro, mas para além do fabuloso single “What The Water Gave Me”, é dado a conhecer mais um tema “Shake It Out”. É bom não ter motivos que justifiquem porque gostamos de música. E desta particularmente.

VHS OR BETA - Diamonds And Death

Confesso que depois da desilusão do "Bring On The Comets" de 2008, é com alguma surpresa que acolho regresso VHS OR BETA com "Diamonds and death", com edição marcada para 27 de Setembro. Distantes de temas como "Alive" do album de estreia "Night on Fire" de 2005, assume as pautas de dança como matriz de fundo, afastando-se dos elementos mais marcados dos 80's. Estão cada vez mais distantes do meu gosto musical, mas não resisto ao novo tema "Breaking Bones".
I must say that after last 2008 record's disappointment "Bring on the Comets", I didn't saw it coming, but it's with some surprise that I watch the return of VHS OR BETA with "Diamonds and Death", due on September 27TH. Faraway from "Alive" on their 2005 album debut "Night on Fire", they assume dance music as main expression, getting away from sounds of the 80's. They don't make my kind of music anymore, but I can't resist the new single "Breaking Bones".

Strange boys - live music

Desde que lançaram o seu primeiro álbum "the strange boys' and girls club" -2009 que sigo com muito entusiasmo os "Strange Boys". Eles estão de volta a 24 de Outubro com "live music" e este é o seu primeiro single "me and you".

Nurses - Dracula

O fantástico tema "Fever Dreams" não podia abrir da melhor forma o novo álbum de dos "Nurses" - "Dracula". Sai já para a semana e recomenda-se vivamente.
It couldn't be a better oppening for the record: "Fever dreams" is the fantastic song from the newest record of "Nurses" "Dracula". The album will be release next Monday and it's highly recommendable.

Singing Adams - Everybody Friends Now

Adeus "Broken family band" e olá "Singing Adams". Acabaram os primeiros mas surgem logo os segundos, pois trata-se da mesma banda mas com nome diferente. Trata-se de um começar de novo, embora não considere que estejam tão distantes assim. Enfim, mas enquanto estreia, é um album bastante simpático de Alternative country e com muito folk-rock pelo meio. Rótulos à parte, ouça-se o tema "Bird on the Wing". O álbum já está disponível.
Bye-Bye "Broken family band" and hello "Singing Adams". First band ended and seconds started just now. They are the same band but with a different name. It's a new beginning, but to me they are not too far from each other. Well, as a debut album it's a very interesting Alternative country and folk rock record. For now judge for yourself this nice tune "Bird on the Wing". The album is already available.

The Subways - Money And Celebrity

E foi já em 2005 que os "The subways" estrearam-se com "Young for Eternity", numa especie de grito primal de quem vem para vencer. Bem, fora do Reino Unido as coisas não se passaram exactamente assim e o "All or nothing", de 2008, que prometia um tudo ou nada, também não venceu além fronteiras da tarra mãe. E pelo single de apresentação do novo single "We Don't Need Money To Have A Good Time" também não me parece que vão conquistar o mundo desta vez. Por acaso simpatizo bastante com esta banda e espero mesmo estar enganado quanto ao seu sucesso. "Money And Celebrity" sai dia 19 de Setembro.

And as far I can tell, the new single "WeDon’t Need Money to Have a Good Time" it won't be any different. But despite this, I kind of like this guys, and I really wish that I'm wrong and they will have pretty much success. "Money And Celebrity" it will be release in September 19Th.

For started I love the name SCUM and afterwards I don't care what they might became, if they will be succeed or not, if they will save rock music or music in general or even save their old lady neighbor.
