Frankie Rose - Interstellar

Já está disponível desde Março deste ano, mas não posso deixar de fazer um post um dos discos mais interessantes cantados no feminino deste ano: Frankie Rose - “Interstellar”. No mínimo magnífico. Depois das Dum Dum Girls e Vivian Girls, Frankie Rose torna-se numa pequena constelação de si própria, com todas as referencias das anteriores bandas e com mais uma estrelitas daqui e dali. Aqui ficam os temas “Interstellar”, "Know me" e "Night swim".

It's already available since March this year, but I couldn’t left her out without make a post by one of this year's most interesting women voices: Frankie Rose - “Interstellar”. It's at least magnificent. After Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls, Frankie Rose become her own constellation, with all the references of their previews bands and a little bit more. Depois dos "The Concretes", a sueca Victoria Bergsman soma e segue em Taken By Trees apresentando mais um álbum dia 2 de Outubro Other World. Dreams, o primeiro single deste novo disco, ilustra mais uma vez a sensibilidade e delicadeza no tratamento das canções que já nos têm habituado.

Os Factories, trio de Pheonix, não são para mim a oitava maravilha do mundo mas dá-me muito prazer ouvir o seu álbum de estreia "Together". É certo que aqui ou ali encontro sonoridades que estou menos receptivo, mas o saldo final é para mim, bastante positivo. Aqui fica "Canada". 

Factories are a Phoenix-based three piece Factories, and to me they aren't the eight world wonder but it gives me such a pleasure to listen their Together, the debut full-length album. It's for sure that I find some songs that I don't like that much, but at the end to me all together make a quite good album. Watch now "Canada".

Lançado digitalmente no passado dia 9 de Julho, "Pacific standard time" do duo de Los Angeles "Poolside", abre com a magnífica instrumental "Tulsa". Apetece seguir o conselho sugerido e ir para ao pé de uma piscina e deixar o album correr. As minhas favoritas são "Tulsa", "Why you wonna", "Harvest moon" (sim uma cover de Neil Young), "Kiss you forever", "Give it a rest", "Can't get you off my mind", "Without you" "Between dreams" e este "slow down".

Released digitally last July 9TH, "Pacific standard time" by Los Angeles Duo "Poolside" opens with the magisterial "Tulsa". It feels like to listen the all album by the pool as the band name suggests. My Favorites ones are "Tulsa", "Why you wonna", "Harvest moon" (yes a Neil Young cover), "Kiss you forever", "Give it a rest", "Can't get you off my mind", "Without you", "Between dreams" and this "slow down".
