É editado finalmente na Europa a 13 de Agosto o álbum de estreia dos Australianos Cameras com In your room. Com dois vocalistas: Fraser Harvey e Eleanor Dunlop há uma alternância quase milimétrica na distribuição das vocalizações das canções, que ainda assim não descontextualiza musicalmente o álbum. No entanto há uma dictomia que não me deixa abraçar completamente este álbum: há uma abordagem demasiado próxima aos Interpol e aos Editors, por exemplo (o que pode não ser mau) mas há também uma consistência bastante forte às quais não resisto. Para já "I Know", "Break hands", "In your room", "Polarise" e "Kreuzberg" são as minhas favoritas. Para ver ficam os singles Defeatist (o primeiro single) e o mais recente June.

Although there's an issue that don't let me fall madly in love for these guys: They are sometimes too similar of Interpol or Editors, for example (That could be good sometimes) but they have also a strong songs which I can't resist.
