 Tomorrow, space-rock wizards Wooden Shjips will release V, their first new album in five years. The video, directed by frontman Ripley Johnson and his Moon Duo bandmate Sanae Yamada, is exactly the sort of visual depiction of the song that you might expect from this band.

Liars - Liquorice

Os Liars escreveram e gravaram a banda sonora original do filme 1/1, uma estreia de Jeremy Phillips na realização. O disco contém as últimas gravações de Aaron Hemphill antes da sua saída amigável da banda, uma vez que foi gravado logo após a edição de Mess de 2014. O Filme "convida o espetador a mergulhar na mente de Lissa, uma rapariga rural de 20 anos que vive na Pennsylvania e a sua luta com questões como o sexo, drogas, amor e perda. Os Liars decidiram juntar-se á equipa do filme depois de lerem o guião, que Andrew descreve como "muito pesado" e "muito intenso". A banda sonora dos Liars sai a 20 de Julho pela Mute. Espreitem em baixo "Liquorice".

Liars have written and recorded the soundtrack to upcoming film 1/1, a Jeremy Phillips directorial debut. The soundtrack contains the last recordings done with Aaron Hemphill before his amicable departure, because was made shortly after Liars’ 2014 album Mess. The film, “submerges the viewer into the mind of Lissa, a 20-year-old girl in rural Pennsylvania and her struggles with sex, drugs, love and loss.” 1/1 starring Lindsey Shaw (Pretty Little Liars), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club) and Dendrie Taylor (Star Trek: Generations). Liars decided to join the film after reading the script, which Andrew describes as “very heavy” and “very intense.” Liars’ soundtrack is out 20 Th July on Mute. Watch below "Liquorice".

The Love Language - Baby Grand

Após cinco anos, The Love Language regressa com um novo disco Baby Grand, que será lançado a 3 de Agosto via Merge. Acerca do disco e do single "Castle in the Sky," McLamb na conferência de imprensa disse "Tem qualquer coisa a ver com estar numa nova cidade, e com uma nova luz, e recomeçar as gravações, e as demos que pensei em deitar fora de repente começo a sentir um novo sentido ..." Para ouvir em baixo os singles “Castle in the Sky” and “Southern Doldrums”. 

After five years the Love Language is back with his new record Baby Grand, due out August 3RD via Merge. About the album and single "Castle in the Sky," McLamb says in a press release: "It was something just about being in a new city, and a new light, and reopening the sessions, and this demo that I thought was a throwaway, suddenly I'm really feeling it..." It's always a good surprise listen to Oh Sees new single and this one is no different, “Overthrown” is kind of proggish with their usual heavy guitars. His mentor continues to work frenetically since its been only five months that last year’s release Orc and Memory Of A Cut Off Head. A new album it is coming on the way and it is called Smote Reverser.

The Joy Formidable - "Dance Of The Lotus"
