Chris Liebing - Burn Slow

Um dos pilares da Techno Chris Liebing vai lançar o seu primeiro disco chamado Burn Slow este mês de Setembro. Será lançado pela editora do Reino Unido Mute Records, e que se segue ao single "Novembergrey" lançado em Abril. De acordo com a editora, trata-se de um projecto electrónico minimalista épico e que nasceu a partir da conexão do artista com “os conceitos chave de  presença". A par da divulgação do novo disco, Liebing lançou o video com a participação de Gary Numan, ‘Polished Chrome (The Friend Pt. 1)’, que pode ser visto em baixo. 

Techno mainstay Chris Liebing is releasing his first album, titled Burn Slow, this September. It will be released on UK label Mute Records and follows the ‘Novembergrey’ single he dropped on the imprint in April. According to Mute, the project is a “minimalist electronic epic” and is born out of the producer’s connection to “the key concept of presence”. Ólafur Arnalds ft. SOHN “Unfold” Video

O novo single do produtor e compositor Islandês Ólafur Arnalds conta com a participação do Produtor e compositor Inglês SOHN. "Unfold" é o segundo single do novo álbum re:member, que sai a 24 de Agosto. Acerca do disco, o artista disse: "Este será o meu álbum "sair da concha." Peguei nas minhas influencias de todos os géneros musicais e não as filtrei. Eu espero que gostem tanto de ouvi-lo como eu gostei de fazê-lo."

Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds new single featuring English singer-producer SOHN. "Unfold" is the second single from Ólafur's upcoming album re:member, out August 24th. About the new album:"This is my breaking-out-of-the-shell album. It’s me taking the raw influences that I have from all these different musical genres and not filtering them. I really hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it."

Villagers - A Trick of the Light

Novo single para os Villagers "A Trick of the Light" retirado daquele que será o seu novo álbum The Art of Pretending to Swim, que sairá a 21 de Setembro pela editora Domino. Acerca do video numa conferencia de imprensa, Conor O’Brien disse: "Eu e Bob [Gallagher, director] juntámo-nos e discutimos o tema da canção e chegámos à conclusão que deveríamos filmar um pequeno filme sobre o percurso errante do protagonista que misteriosamente e aparentemente desperta estados de consciência alternativos por quem passa, ou pelo menos é assim que ele pensa."

Villagers new single "A Trick of the Light" is taken from their forthcoming album The Art of Pretending to Swim, out 21st September on Domino Record Co. Talking of the new video in a press release, Conor O’Brien says: “Myself and Bob [Gallagher, director] got together and discussed the song thematically and came to the conclusion that there was no other option but to make a short film in which we follow a dishevelled shamanistic protagonist who mysteriously triggers an altered state of consciousness in everyone he meets, or at least believes that he does."

 

Cigarettes After Sex - "Crush"

Os Cigarettes After Sex divulgaram no sábado dia 9, seu mais novo single “Crush” através da plataformas de streaming, para celebrar um ano de lançamento do seu álbum homónimo de estreia. Em entrevista concedida ao jornal britânico The Independent, a banda assumiu, relativamente à questão da mudança do som da banda: “Eu não quero que façamos nenhuma curva fechada. Eu gosto da consistência de bandas como Cocteau Twins ou quando a mudança é mais gradual." 

Cigarettes After Sex revealed last Saturday 9 Th, their new single "Crush" on streaming platforms, to celebrate their self-title album debut that was  released one year ago. About changing their music, the band said to the newspaper The Independent: "“I don’t want us to take any sharp turns. I like the consistency of bands like Cocteau Twins, or when change is a more gradual thing."

Stars – “One Day Left”

No ano passado os Stars lançaram o seu disco There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light. No passado m~es de Março lançaram um single novo “Ship To Shore,” e agora têm mais um single novo “One Day Left”. Acerca do disco a banda comenta: "As 12 últimas horas que se passa com a pessoa que se ama podem não existir. Estás a olhar para um fantasma. Talvez foderam umas cem vezes ou talvez acabaram de se conhecer. Mas se tu amares essa pessoa o adeus é como veneno. Tu estás num quarto de hotel. Tu sabes que está quase a terminar. Tu sabes que tem que acabar. A cidade soa lá fora. Mas ali ao pé deles com todas as roupas e malas feitas, a ouvirem-se as suas respirações, o tempo pára. Last year, Stars released their album There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light. In March this year they followed it up with the new single “Ship To Shore,” and now they’ve already got another new song “One Day Left”. About the new song, Stars have this to say: "The last 12 hours you spend with someone you love might as well not exist. You are looking at a ghost. Acabou-se a espera, o novo álbum de Ana Calvi sai a 31 de Agosto e chama-se Hunter. Wild Nothing - “Letting Go”

O projeto Dream Pop de Jack Tatum Wild Nothing divulgou o seu novo álbum chamado Indigo e será lançado a 31 de Agosto pela Captured Tracks. Para ouvir em baixo primeiro single a sair do álbum “Letting Go.”  Tatum acerca do disco disse: "Eu questiono-me como a minha música irá envelhecer. (...) A ideia de intemporal será diferente assim se Indigo não for intemporal será pelo menos fora de tempo."

Jack Tatum’s dream pop project Wild Nothing has announced a new album called Indigo and it will be release out August 31 St on Captured Tracks. Listen below His LP’s first single “Letting Go.” Tatum said in a statement: “I think about how my music will age. (...) Ideas of ‘timeless’ are going to be different—so if Indigo is not timeless then it’s at last ‘out of time.’”

The Irrepressibles - submission

"Submission" é o prmeiro single a ser lançado do muito esperado 3 disco dos The Irrepressibles. O tema anda à volta de quando nos apaixonamos temos que nos submeter ao sentimento e quando acaba destrói-nos tal o ditado popular francês ’la petite mort’. O tema conta com a colaboração de Jon Campbell.

"Submission" is the first single released from The Irrepressibles highly anticipated 3rd record. The track discusses how when we fall in love we have to submit to it and how when it ends it destroys us much like the French saying ’la petite mort’. The song features Jon Campbell.

Moullinex - Dream On

Fantástico novo single “Dream on" de Moullinex, primeira música nova do produtor, multi-instrumentista e DJ desde Hypersex, em 2017, o seu terceiro disco. “Dream on” assinala a estreia na editora americana Majestic Casual que está ligada ao canal de Youtube com o mesmo nome, trata-se de uma plataforma de curadoria online cujo objectivo é dar a conhecer artistas dos mais diversos quadrantes: músicos, fotógrafos, designers, apresentando os seus trabalhos. Segundo palavras do artista, o tema “foi feito quase inteiramente numa viagem de comboio que fiz a seguir a um DJ set" tentando captar o sentimento único de ter realizado uma noite perfeita. 

 Fantastic new single by Moullinex - Dream On, first new music from producer, multinstrumentalist and DJ since 2017 Hyperxex, his third album. This is the first edition on American label Majestic Casual that is connected to Youtube's channel which wants to be a platform for new artist from different areas like musicians, photographers, designers, and so on, showing their work. About the song, he said, "I compose entirely in a train journey that I made after a DJ Set" and wanted to show the feeling of what a perfect night is.

Nite Jewel – “On Your Own” & “The Jokes On You”

Nite Jwel partilhou dois novos temas “On Your Own” and “The Jokes On You. Trata-se de material novo desde o álbum de 2017 Real High, e encaixa-se perfeitamente na sua eletronica sensual. Num comunicado de imprensa, a artista divulga o motivo da sua atual intensidade niilista na sua música, o atual clima cultural levou-a a um sentimento de angústia sem precedentes. Embora no passado, através da sua música fosse capaz incutir algum sentimento de esperança ou pelo menos olhar para o presente com sentido de humor, neste momento vê-se inevitavelmente cair em espirais niilistas.

In a press release, she divulges the reason for her music’s current nihilistic intensity, the current cultural climate has led her to an unprecedented sense of angst. Gorillaz - Now Now

É verdade que os Gorillaz há apenas um ano que editaram Humanz, mas desde Dezembro do ano passado que a banda dá pistas de que estava a trabalhar em novo material e com o lançamento do tema “Hollywood” em Março deixou de haver dúvidas. Escrito grande parte ainda estavam em digressão nos Estados Unidos, tem como colaboradores o guitarrista de jazz/R&B George Benson e Snoop Dogg. Confirma-se então que o novo disco Now Now será editado a 29 de Junho via Warner Bros.  Para ouvir em baixo dois temas novos "Humility"e "Lake Zurich".

It's true that Gorillaz release Humanz only a year ago, but since last December has been rumours it follow up and then in this year’s March they release a new single “Hollywood”, so that was no doubt that new material was coming. The new record was wrote a lot of while touring United States and also has a couple guest appearances, including jazz/R&B guitarist George Benson and Snoop Dogg.
