Os Low vão lançar o seu novo disco Double Negative a 14 de Stembro via Sub Pop. Recentemente editaram a faixa que encerra o álbum "Disarray". O crítico de música Grayson Currin escreveu a sinopse para o novo álbum e descreve: "Double Negative é, seguramente, um disco doloroso e perfeitamente ajustado para os nossos dias."

Ladytron - “The Island”

Em março os Ladytron lançaram a sua primeira música em sete anos "The Animals. Agora editaram o seu segundo single do álbum que está para vir neste outono. A propósito do novo single, numa conferencia de imprensa, a vocalista Helen Marnie disse: "Nos últimos dois anos, durante os quais concebemos o disco, foi um processo alucinante, de certa forma traumático para todos. Penso que só confrontando e abraçando essa experiência é que temos a possibilidade de a ultrapassar." 

Back in March Ladytron released their first new music in seven years, the new song "The Animals." Now they have shared a new song “The Island”, their second single from forthcoming album due out this fall. Singer Helen Marnie says about the song in a press release: "These past two years, during which we've been making this record, have been an accelerating turmoil, traumatic for everyone. I think only by confronting and embracing this reality do we stand a chance of getting beyond it."

O homem do tema é um homem a envelhecer que tenta seduzir uma pessoa mais jovem com tecnologia obsoleta e é muito vaidoso. É um personagem muito engraçado de se brincar e com quem me posso identificar." - Devendra Banhart. 

It's not new but it's always good listen to Devendra Banhart's "Fig in Leather". "The theme itself is about the male ego. The guy in “Fig in Leather” is this aging person trying to seduce this younger person with totally obsolete technology, and it’s totally in vain. That’s really a fun character to play with, and one I can identify with." - Devendra Banhart.
