Suede - Best Of

E porque são uma das minhas bandas favoritas de sempre, principalmente a era 1993-1997, não podia deixar de falar dos Suede a propósito do seu Best Of. É uma das melhores sínteses feitas sobre a carreira desta banda que tornou-se a "Best new best Thing" ainda o primeiro single ainda não tinha chegado às lojas. Hoje parece despropositado, com as facilidades da Internet e da rapidez com que a informação circula. Em 2010 as bandas são grandes dentro das suas esferas, mas poucas atingem o estatuto de "Grande Banda", aquelas com uma legião de fans incondicionais que os amavam acima de tudo. Saudosismos à parte, este álbum é uma excelente colecção de músicas que os Suede produziram. E tem o condão de reunir os singles e os Lados B que melhor caracterizam o seu som. And just because “Suede” are one of my favorite bands ever, especially during the time 1993-1997, I have to talk about their Best Of. I am talking about one of the best music reunited about a band once called “the best new next thing” without even released their debut single. Today it seems a little bit inappropriate mostly by the facilities of the Internet and how fast the information travels. In 2010 bands are great in their little spheres, but only few became a “Big band”, one of those with a worldwide legion of unconditional fans.
